Christian testimony site for Messianic Jews

“Being the only son of a Jewish mother, I was made to feel like I was the center of the universe; it was all about me,” says Dr. Rich Flashman. Eventually, however, he came to realize that “if there was no God, there was no hope.” He goes on to talk about Jesus’ revelation to him and how he came to know Jesus as God and Messiah.

It’s one of many stories shared on IMetMessiah.com, a project from One For Israel and Chosen People Ministries. The website is full of short video interviews where Jewish professionals give their testimony of how they became Messianic Jews, Jewish people who come to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.

“We believe that if you were born a Jew, you are a Jew, period!” says Eitan Bar, the producer of those films. “Believing in Yeshua not only does not change this but rather, as you will see and hear, fulfills all we ever hoped for as a Jewish man or woman.”

There are stories like that of Mottel Baleston, who was disillusioned with the legalism of Judaism. “It seemed to me that if there was a God out there who could be known, he should be able to be recognized no matter where I face, no matter how I’m dressed, because he’s God,” he says. After coming to accept Jesus as the Messiah, Mottel says, “I could see changes in myself that I knew were not coming from within myself. I had kind of tapped into a truth for our Jewish people that was very powerful.”

The purpose of the testimonies, according to the About page, is “to invite you into their lives and you will see for yourself…why they decided to become followers of Yeshua and the profound impact this had on each of them as individuals.”

In addition to these testimonies, IMetMessiah also has a link to a page on OneForIsrael.org that provides answers to rabbis’ common objections to Jesus as the Messiah.
