Indigitous #HACK returns to Rio

Indigitous #HACK is coming back to the city of Rio de Janeiro and we could not be happier with it. This year we will have a greater structure, new challenges, and partners committed to proposing creative solutions to the problems of our community.

If you’ve never been to a hackathon before, this post is for you.

A hackathon is a programming and development marathon where people of all kinds (not just software or computer science students) come together to collaborate on technology projects. We will be together for 40 hours in a row with great animation and creativity.

#HACK is about bringing together people who like to think about technology, design, and development. Throughout the weekend, we will team up and work together on projects that use technology to support the Great Commission.

What does #HACK have to do differently?

This hackathon is a nonprofit event to encourage the ongoing activation and collaboration of a larger ecosystem of all kinds of creative individuals (including programmers, designers, strategists, businessmen, and church and market leaders) who are passionate about creating technologies for facing the challenges facing our society and our local communities from a Christian perspective.
