Like Indigitous and everyone else, Jesus.net had their plans for 2020 changed drastically by the COVID-19 pandemic. With their annual Jesus.net conference postponed indefinitely, they have been looking for a different way to gather together with partners and others in the digital missions space to connect, inspire each other, share learnings, and more. Enter the new Jesus.net Masterclass Series.
Jesus.net is a global international network of more than 85 Christian organizations and ministries who are engaged in online evangelism and discipleship. While the annual Jesus.net Conferences have been intended for members of those partner organizations, the Masterclass Series is open to all who want to share and learn about online evangelism and discipleship.
The classes will meet online each month for six months, starting on June 25 and ending on December 17, all taking place at 4:30pm Amsterdam time. According to the Jesus.net website, “each month will offer an opportunity to connect with a worldwide team of missions partners while sharing experiences and knowledge on online evangelism and discipleship. After each 60-minutes session, Jesus.net will provide a good follow-up so you can implement and share it within your own network.” On June 25, the first class will meet to engage on the topic “Evangelism and discipleship in times of crisis.”
If you have enjoyed learning tips and strategies from the Indigitous Ministry From a Distance webinars or our Digital Outreach Workshops, this new series from Jesus.net might be a great next step in your education. We encourage anyone who is interested in learning more about online evangelism and discipleship to attend these classes.
