Course Teaches Digital Evangelism Strategy for Social Media

Statistics show that 2.5% of of a target audience is open to religious change at any given time. The challenge is to be able to identify who they are and investing in those people. To cast a broad net in order to filter out those who are in that 2.5%, Mission Media U has developed a five-week course to allow busy traditional practitioners develop low cost strategies to use social media to find these people.

This online course is designed for someone in leadership with a missional heart. It provides a fresh approach to media strategy based on the research of Dr. Frank Preston (editor’s note: See the Indigitous SESSIONS featuring Frank Preston here). It has a strong social media component.

Course Description:
The course will begin on Thursday, September 14 and will last for five weeks. Each week requires 3 hours, including one hour of live instruction.

This is limited to the first 23 to enroll. The course will be most effective when two or more members from a team take the course together. The cost is $120 but there are discounts for teams and people from non-Western nations which could make the tuition as low as $50. Here is the tuition pricing rationale.

Here is what makes the Mission Media U unique:

  • In a media-driven world, MMU provides practical training for busy people engaged in ministry.
  • Each course is five weeks in length and requires only three hours each week.
  • Each course is taught by an expert with a missional heart.
  • Each course is limited to 23 students for maximized learning and connection with others.

The course is expected to fill up by September 5. The best way to guarantee your places for your staff is to have them register and pay. If you need a team discount code, email Jaime to request which code you need (Western team, Non-Western working with Western organization, or Non-Western).
