GodTools Lessons Help You Confidently Share the Gospel

If you have a friend or family member who doesn’t know Jesus, you might feel pressure to help bring that person to faith. Maybe you’ve even been proactive and downloaded a helpful app like GodTools or the Jesus Film app and have been looking for opportunities for spiritual conversations. But maybe those conversations haven’t gone anywhere. Or maybe you haven’t found the right opportunities. Or maybe you’re still not sure how to get started. What then?

GodTools lessons

Sometimes we just need more help. While you must rely on the Holy Spirit, and it is only that Spirit that can change someone’s heart and prompt them to accept Christ, there are things you can do. Spiritual conversation is a skill that can be learned. That is why the GodTools team added a feature to the app called Lessons.

Each Lesson attempts to solve a specific problem you may be having when it comes to sharing your faith. Are most of your conversations superficial and you don’t know how to move to deeper topics? There’s a lesson called “How To Move Your Everyday Conversations to a Deeper Level.” Not sure what to do when you’re stumped? Check out the lesson called “Three Things To Consider When Someone Asks You a Hard Question.”

The Lessons are short and easy to scroll through on your phone whenever you have free time — you know, instead of crushing candy or checking Instagram again. Each lesson gives you information that is easy to follow and supported by Scripture. At the end of each lesson, you will find a section on “Things To Try.”

You can find Lessons at the bottom of your GodTools app.

Teach Me To Share

Lessons aren’t the only training tool on GodTools. There’s also Teach Me To Share, which you can find in the list of tools. This tool gives you practical tips to help you take steps of faith to start spiritual conversations. Whereas most of the tools in GodTools are Gospel presentations that you can use when having spiritual conversations, Teach Me To Share is a tool to go through on your own, to prepare you for having those conversations.

For best results, go through Teach Me To Share and the Lessons. Will you still be nervous about sharing your faith? Probably. Will it still feel awkward when you want to take a conversation to a deeper level? Maybe. These are important conversations with an eternal significance, so that’s only natural. But the more you practice and prepare, the better the experience will be for you.

If you’ve tried GodTools Lessons or the Teach Me To Share tool, we would love to hear your experience.
