Hi, everyone. I’m Jeremy. Some of you know me; many of you don’t. I’m responsible for the content that goes onto Indigitous.org, which includes the posts you read on our blog, the resources, and project listings, and more.
One of the great things about Indigitous is that people like you who get the vision are just going out and doing amazing things, using your talents for God in the digital space. I hear about people training churches in using digital strategies. I hear about people running Digital Outreach events. I hear about people leading Indigitous Boot Camps, # events, meetups, and hackathons. However, I’m also aware that for the most part I don’t hear what you’re doing.
For a while, I’ve been struggling with that problem, thinking and praying about how I can be better informed about what you’re doing to advance God’s Kingdom through innovation. Then it occurred to me: Why not ask?
We want to tell your story
That’s the purpose of this post. I want to tell your story. How are you making Jesus known, making disciples, or making digital missionaries? What can other people learn form what you are doing? If you have a story that you want to share, I encourage you to comment below and I’ll reach out to you. Or you can just write a story and use the handy “Submit Your Blog” button that you see on the blog page.
Video content
Most Indigitous content has been written so far, but the industry trend is to do more video. I am committed to creating and sharing more Indigitous video content in the future, so be on the lookout for that. That includes creating some recurring video series for our YouTube channel, two of which I want to tell you about now because you can easily contribute to them.
Ask Indigitous: There is a wealth of knowledge within the Indigitous community. We’re a community of students, missionaries, technologists, business leaders, and more. If you have a question about ministry, technology, or strategy, ask us! From your comments, emails, tweets and more, we will create Ask Indigitous videos where members of the Indigitous community will answer some of your questions.
Project Spotlight: A lot of you have projects listed on Indigitous.org but you may need more exposure. Working with us to create a Project Spotlight video will help more people to understand your project and learn what help you need to move it forward.
What to do now
If you have a question for Ask Indigitous, a project you would like to spotlight for Project Spotlight, or a general story that you want to tell, let me know! You can email me (my email is below) or comment below.
