Resource Global is hosting a free online event, “The Biblical and Practical Understanding of Faith and Work,” on May 7 at 8:00pm US Eastern time (May 8 at 8:00am China Standard Time).
The event will feature speaker Katherine Leary Alsdorf, founder and former executive director of Redeemer’s Center for Faith & Work and co-author with Tim Keller of the book Every Good Endeavor. Prior to this ministry role at Redeemer, Katherine served 20 years in the high tech industry. She also worked in various consulting, sales, and marketing roles, primarily in the technology sector.
“But if the purpose of work is to serve and exalt something beyond ourselves, then we actually have a better reason to deploy our talent, ambition, and entrepreneurial vigor—and we are more likely to be successful in the long run, even by the world’s definition.”
