Indigitous Hawassa

Here are some of the highlights of what happened in the Indigitous Network in 2014:

Indigitous Hong Kong Conference

Indigitous Hong Kong brought together over 100 creatives, innovators, and ministry leaders to collaborate on digital strategies that connect people to Jesus. Centered on the theme “Connect,” the conference inspired participants to use their skills in design, media, and technology to build relationships and advance the gospel in the digital age.


Indigitous Addis Ababa Conference

Indigitous Addis brought 180 attendees together in Ethiopia to explore mobile technology for the gospel. Inspired by the conference, Ephrem Tesfaye created the first Amharic Bible app for feature phones in under a month, showing the impact of digital innovation for God’s mission.


Indigitous Amsterdam Conference

We aired the first episode of Indigitous Sessions, a webinar series aimed at sharing practical digital strategies that can be applied for increased missional effectiveness. This premier episode featured Lieze Langford, where she spoke on creating personas.

Debunking Digital Strategy Webinar

We aired the first episode of Indigitous Sessions, a webinar series aimed at sharing practical digital strategies that can be applied for increased missional effectiveness. This premier episode featured Lieze Langford, where she spoke on creating personas.


Other Indigitous Events in 2014:

Some of those who attended Indigitous Addis Ababa went on to host Indigitous events in Africa. Indigitous events are a more localized event run entirely by local community leaders. These events brought the vision and learning from the Addis Ababa event back to their city to grow a community and inspire people to action.
