Here are some of the highlights of what happened in the Indigitous Network in 2015:
Indigitous Bangalore, India Conference

Indigitous Bangalore brought together 90 attendees in India’s “Silicon Valley” to explore how mobile technology can reach the unreached. Speakers, including internationally renowned musician Benny Prasad, shared insights and strategies for using digital tools to advance the gospel.
Code for the Kingdom global hackathon
Indigitous joined its first global hackathon in partnership with Code for the Kingdom from October 2–4. Over the weekend, more than 800 participants—including technologists, coders, and designers—gathered across 13 cities in 8 countries to create 123 projects with real-world mission impact. While Indigitous has hosted smaller hackathons at previous events, this marked its first participation in a global hackathon.

Hack4Missions at Urbana Conference

Indigitous joined with the Urbana Student Missions Conference in St. Louis, Missouri (U.S.) to put on its first Hack4Missions event. Around 190 students joined the hackathon to work on 13 projects for various ministries present at the conference.
Nine Indigitous Sessions
There were nine Indigitous Sessions aired in 2015, including two in Spanish. Beginning with Eric Barker’s Sessions on “Practical UX Design” on January 15 and ending with Matthew Watts’ SESSION called “Is There a Way Across,” about building pathways for spiritual growth, on October 29, various subject matter experts shared relevant strategies that can increase ministry effectiveness.

In addition, approximately 721 attendees participated in 18 Indigitous # events held across Africa, Asia, Europe, Central America, North America, and the Caribbean. These gatherings brought together digital innovators, creatives, and ministry leaders to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore new ways to use technology for God’s mission.
