Who Are Frontier People Groups?

An eye-opening fact remains: there are over 80 million belonging to thousands of people groups who have never heard about Jesus. No church in their town. No believer in their family. No Bible in their language.

Who Are Frontier Peoples? is a prayer guide that introduces you to 36 of the largest of these people groups. Through captivating color illustrations, it gives a glimpse into their culture and daily life as seen through the eyes of a child, inspiring us to pray that they will know the love of Jesus.

More than 5,000 people groups are still waiting to hear about Jesus’ love.

Grouped by language and culture, these are considered frontier people groups because less than 0.1% of their population are Christian or less than 1 in 1,000 know Jesus.

“The Frontier People Group prayer guide is a beautiful combination of critical missions information and remarkable graphics. It brings to life the gospel needs of some of the most unreached people groups in the world with Disney-quality images in a way that encourages prayer. In nine languages and designed for any age, it is the perfect resource for personal prayer, family devotions, homeschoolers, a Sunday School class or community group.”

Dan Scribner, Founder, Joshua Project

This resource has been a creative and engaging way to instill a passion for missions for our families. I don’t know of any other resource like it. I’m so grateful for the way our young people are using their artistic skills to make the needs of unreached people groups known.

Having followed frontier missions for more than 45 years, there have only been a few “watershed” ideas that grip my heart for the world. The idea of Frontier Peoples Groups (FPG) helps to hone a vision for the peoples and places where Gospel witness is crucially needed. This simple, clear and profound booklet makes understanding and sharing that vision simple. So, share it with folks of all ages…but be careful — it just might capture your heart too!

“Jesus said the kingdom of God belongs to those like children. What better way to engage kids in the mission of God than the Frontier People Groups book? The beautiful characters become like friends, inviting young and old to learn about their lives. The book gives you insights as to how you and your kids can pray for dear people who reflect the image of our God that they do not yet know. This is my favorite gift to give kids, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.”
