Secure Communication Platform

Secure Communication Platform
A secure missions communication platform for those in limited and closed access countries.
Humanitarian Aid, Missions, Service

Christian missionaries and service workers need a secure platform to communicate with their sending agency, supporting churches, friends and family. Using current technology we are going to be building a platform that will allow for easy communication that is as secure as technology allows.

Mission agencies.
Missionaries and aid workers.
Will likely use non public repo for this due to security.

Hey, I was wondering if you could describe more about what you are doing. Such as is this a web based app or mobile? Are you thinking about some kind of vpn or using SSL encryption or end-to-end data encryption. We are working on things along these lines so I would love to here more about what you are doing.

    Is this still active?
This project sounds really interesting, I’ve had similar ideas in the past of developing something with a similar purpose. Are you considering just a software solution, or incorporating a hardware aspect as well?

Sorry, have not been on the site in a while. Yes this project is very much alive. We will be finishing it at #hack 2018 in Modesto. We have one large missions agency who is going to trial it in the field in non critical situations.

It is a mobile app written in React Native with a Node on AWS lambda back end. We are using SSL for sure but SSL encryption is breakable if you own the network like China or Iran. So we are doing private encryption inside the SSL with keys only synced on safe IP ground. There are other layers inside as well, but this should get your brains working in the right direction.
