Indigitous communities across the globe collaborate for Kingdom impact through the month of April.
For the Indigitous network, April was bustling with activity as communities from every corner of the globe gathered to strategize and launch gospel-focused events.
Nigeria
In April Simon Seow, co-founder of Indigitous, was invited to lead a workshop titled ‘Digital Ambassadors: Representing Christ in a Connected World’ at the Joshua Generation Youth Conference (JGIYC). The conference was hosted by the Church of Nigeria from April 29 to May 3 for over 25,000 student attendees. Simon led his workshop on April 30, teaching thousands of young people to be ambassadors for Christ using social media and technology.
Simon also hosted a workshop in collaboration with the Nigerian Lausanne Younger Leaders to discuss digital technology for evangelism and discipleship. Forty people gathered to attend the event at Glory Bible Church in Abuja, Nigeria.



The Philippines
Recognizing the digital realm as a vital mission field, the Indigitous community in the Philippines organized a free online and virtual reality event on April 2. This initiative aimed to equip pastors, content creators, and digital missionaries with tools to share the message of Jesus in digital spaces.
On April 26, Indigitous Philippines also hosted a 30-minute virtual event to encourage prayer for the digital space.


Tanzania
In collaboration with The LIFE Ministry Tanzania and Global Church Movements Tanzania, the Indigitous community in Tanzania hosted a MC² (Multiplying Churches and Communities) Training on April 2.The training was designed to equip women with the right tools to become powerful catalysts for sustainable church growth and discipleship. This collaborative event highlighted the vital role of women in multiplying churches and transforming communities.
Student Led Movements (SLM) and The LIFE Ministry Tanzania also attended the Global Summit, where 335 people from 104 countries collaborated to share impactful ideas to reach the younger generations.


United States
In April, the Indigitous community in the United States attended a Missional AI conference where they met up with future #HACK leaders, volunteers, and tech innovators.
“Every connection is a new opportunity to see God’s Kingdom advance,” said Nick Wu, Director of Indigitous US.
The Indigitous US team also attended the Evangelical Missiological Society (EMS) to present a paper on missions, ecclesiology, and reimagining the church through design thinking.
Finally, the US team gathered to recruit, strategize, and prepare for #HACK2025.


Mozambique
On April 22 the Indigitous community in Mozambique hosted Base4Good Global Hackathon, a 24-hour hackathon designed to develop apps with a positive social impact, using the Base44. platform.

Singapore
On April 15, the Indigitous community in Singapore participated in CODE-X, an event designed to revolutionize faith-based experiences through an innovative fusion of transmedia content and AI-driven technology. The event was held at Wesley Methodist Church as a part of the Movement Day/SG500 digital initiatives.

South Asia
On April 12, the Indigitous community in South Asia hosted its third conference on the intersection of missions and technology. The event included powerful conversations, profound learnings, and meaningful connections for all who attended.
Indigitous community leader K. from South Asia encouraged people to build faith and tech communities at an innovation summit in Malaysia. K. was part of a panel of tech leaders strategizing to raise up tech-savvy, self-supported, and bi-vocational pastors equipped for sustainable ministry.

K. also shared his vision for missions in a digital age with over 175 Christians at a gathering in South Asia aimed at inspiring young adults to take a forward-thinking approach to ministry.
Finally, two Indigitous community leaders from South Asia also traveled to Bangalore to engage with leading tech experts and explore potential for collaboration.

Ethiopia
On April 25 Indigitous Ethiopia hosted the Gara Missional Innovators Summit at the Gara Innovation Hub. Although signups for the event closed at 50 registrations, approximately 100 people attended, eager to engage with the content.
As a part of the event, the team hosted a panel I am Digital moderated by Eden. Eden has been serving the digital strategies media team through her God-given gifts as a creative. Eden’s journey into digital ministry began through Indigitous while she was a student in Hawassa, Ethiopia. Simon Seow was invited to speak on the panel to 100 attendees to discuss the movement of digital missionaries across Africa.
Indigitous Ethiopia plans to hold more gatherings with their next event to take place on May 16 which will cater to content creators.






Australia
The Indigitous network is exploring collaboration with the Globals Recordings Network (GRN), a 70-year-old ministry focused on providing Biblical recordings of oral languages to people of every language and culture. Indigitous hopes to host a hackathon in collaboration with GRN as a part of #HACK2025. The #HACK event would be open to people from every industry.

Indigitous Global
Indigitous global pushed out a three-part Easter social media campaign. The first part of the campaign ran in partnership with Arkitekyuklid, a social media artist, who created Gospel-centered graphics for each day of Holy Week. The content was reshared by multiple local Indigitous communities across Facebook and Instagram, reaching over 889,400 people and receiving over 77,200 engagements
The second part of the campaign, in partnership with GodTools, included three reels demonstrating how to use GodTool’s unique platform to share your faith. The content reached over 5,600 people, and received nearly 200 engagements.
Lastly, Indigitous global posted five unique videos for users to share with friends and family who don’t know Jesus yet. The series, titled “Videos You Can Share,” featured coordinating reel covers to visually indicate to users the ease of sharing videos—encouraging them to pass it along to friends. The content reached nearly 1,000 users and received over 400 engagements.
