Indigitous communities take the Gospel to new people, places and spaces through the month of August.
Throughout August, Indigitous communities worldwide collaborated to bring the Gospel to those who have not yet heard it.
Singapore
On August 23, Russ Martin, co-founder of Indigitous, Jonah Jala, global engagements lead at Indigitous and #HACK global director, and Mervyn Lee, VR missions lead at Bartley Christian Church, gave a Digital Missions Talk at Bartley Christian Church in Singapore.





Tanzania
On August 30 the LIFE Ministry Tanzania gathered to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Leaders from many organizations, businesses, and churches gathered to celebrate what God has done through the LIFE Ministry Tanzania. Indigitous also hosted a booth for digital strategies at the event.
On August 16 the LIFE Ministry provided needed school supplies and personal hygiene kits to students, and on the 23rd, they held a seminar for widows and wives at Baptist Church Magomeni to provide women in the community with encouragement and support.



Ethiopia
In August, Indigitous Ethiopia hosted the National Digital Strategy Leaders Summit at the Gara Innovation Hub.




Indigitous Global
On August 6 Indigitous hosted a virtual collaboration space for gaming. Those who joined created a digital prayer board to share their prayers for the gaming community.

On August 14 and 28 the Indigitous global team hosted two virtual prayer gatherings to provide an opportunity to pray for upcoming #HACK events and for those sharing the Gospel in the digital space.


The Indigitous global team hosted a virtual Open House event on the topic of using social media for missions on August 16. Arpita Acharya, Christian content creator, and Liz Andreasen, Director of Internal Products at Cru Global Digital Strategies, shared real-life stories of how social media is being used to reach the unreached. Forty-four people from 18 countries attended the event and gathered to discuss how the space can be used to tell more people about Jesus. Following the event Kirby Kelly, speaker, influencer, and podcast host who has been creating Christian content for over a decade, conducted a 48-hour Ask Me Anything on Instagram stories in partnership with Indigitous.


On August 21, Indigitous hosted its third Visions Keepers’ gathering of 2025. Participants heard from Levan Wee, founder and director of Bible Bento, a digital ministry that creates anime-style Bible videos for kids and youth, as he shared insights on being faithful in multiplying God’s vision. Network leaders also shared stories of innovation and encouragement during the gathering.

From July through September, Indigitous is hosting a three-part series: ‘Taking a Step to Reach Your World.’ On August 27, Indigitous hosted the second event in the series: ’Discover Your Place in God’s Mission.’ George Herera, founder of Victory Gaming, and Jay, digital missions leader, spoke at the event, encouraging participants to use their hobbies to share Jesus. Forty-five participants from 26 countries attended.

As of September 10, 67 champions from 56 cities and 31 countries have signed up to host #HACK.
