London, UK:
How to see technology through the lens of our faith in Jesus
James D

What I’m working on now:

I’m one of the leaders at Kingdom Code. Kingdom Code is a group in the UK; we’re a community of Christian technologists – we work as developers, designers, project managers, entrepreneurs, etc. Some of us work in leading tech organisations, some of us work as freelancers, some of us are hobbyists exploring the tech world for the first time. However, we all want to explore how to see technology through the lens of our faith in Jesus.

My role is to lead this community, encouraging and supporting our growing group of city leaders, and bringing together people around different topics, so that we can dig into aspects of where our faith intersects our skill sets. At Kingdom Code, we want to see a community of Christian technologists who are being equipped to serve Christ in the church, the workplace, and society.

How you can join me:

If you’re in the UK, come along to one of the meet-ups (check for the next one at, meet others in the community. The author to the Hebrews challenges us to think how we might encourage and spur one another on towards love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Come and be encouraged, come and spur us on!

If there isn’t a Kingdom Code community near you, would you prayerfully consider getting in touch to talk about leading one in your area?

Please pray! Please pray for me in this role, please pray for Kingdom Code and the community. We want to support more Christians working in the tech world; we want to expand this work from the cities that we are currently at work in. There is a lot we could be doing, and we need to focus well.
