In Digital Outreach, Students Use Laptops to Share the Gospel

Digital Day of Outreach

The low hum of 350 students typing on their keyboards generated an impact that resonated around the world with 8 people coming to Christ. (Watch the 2-minute video above).

It was fun to see the room erupt in worship as students shared real-time stories of how they saw God working during the outreach at our recent Winter Conference.

“My Muslim friend just responded to my email and she loved the What is true love?” article. She wants to meet up to talk about it. Praise God.”

“I just had a great talk with a Hindu friend. She asked me what it meant to be born again so I got to share the gospel with her.”

“My cousin just accepted Christ!!!!!! GOD IS AWESOME!!!”

We helped students rally together, laptops in hand, to begin conversations with their friends online by using different evangelistic articles, videos and stories to share the gospel.

350 students | 848 friends reached | 203 gospel conversations
189 appointments setup | 8 decisions to follow Christ!

This was just one of 7 conferences across North America this past month that did an online outreach. Shortly we’ll post a package of resources you can use if you want to do an online outreach as part of your next conference.
