Mission Media U, an online training platform that is “designed to help Christians to be more effective in making disciples and establishing churches,” has announced new training courses. Each course has limited openings for students to make it easier to connect with each other and the instructor, so you don’t want to take too long deciding whether you want to sign up. Strategic Storytelling for Movements is a five-week, mentored online course designed to accelerate your media strategy through the power of story and focus your stories on effective strategy. The course is for mission practitioners who want to find effective media content to support their strategies, content creators who want to partner with others to make more fruitful content available to the field, and leaders seeking to be more effective in using story to support church-planting and disciple-making movements. The course costs $270, but a discount is available for non-Westerners.

Foundations of Media to Movements
Foundations of Media to Movements is a five-week, mentored course that includes lectures and independent work designed to help you be more effective in using media to start spiritual movements. While the Gospel hasn’t changed, the way people receive and consume information has. The course is designed to help you connect with modern audiences and share content that pulls them into spiritual conversations.
This course is intended for:
- Mission practitioners using media who want to sharpen their skills, get inspired by new ideas, make new connections, find collaborative opportunities and mentoring.
- Leaders in mission organizations, churches and ministries seeking to be more effective at reaching and teaching people for Christ.
