Mission Media U

Mission Media U, an online training platform that is “designed to help Christians to be more effective in making disciples and establishing churches,” has announced new training courses. Each course has limited openings for students to make it easier to connect with each other and the instructor, so you don’t want to take too long deciding whether you want to sign up. Each course will take five weeks to complete. Below are descriptions their upcoming courses:

Biblical Langauges Bootcamp: Greek

Biblical Languages Bookcamp: Greek is a five-week course designed to help you read the New Testament in Greek. It is a rapid comprehension course that will teach you to read Scripture in its original language, learn the best translations for comparative study, and help you continue to engage with Scripture long after the course.

Foundations of Media to Movements

Foundations of Media to Movements is a five-week, mentored course that includes lectures and independent work designed to help you be more effective in using media to start spiritual movements. While the Gospel hasn’t changed, the way people receive and consume information has. The course is designed to help you connect with modern audiences and share content that pulls them into spiritual conversations.

This course is intended for:

  • Mission practitioners using media who want to sharpen their skills, get inspired by new ideas, make new connections, find collaborative opportunities and mentoring.
  • Leaders in mission organizations, churches and ministries seeking to be more effective at reaching and teaching people for Christ.
  • Creatives with a missional heart seeking to better understand how to use media in mission.
